Shatby
Necropolis:
It dates back
to the IIIrd century BC, when it was constructed after the model
of old Greek houses. Every tomb has a doorway, which leads to
a corridor and two chambers.

The Roman Amphitheatre:
The Roman
theatre is located at Kom El Dekka near the Roman Museum. This
theatre which has lasted for ages
is a unique vestige of its kind in Egypt. It contains about ten
marble tiers situated in a semicircle. In Ptolemic
times this area was the Park of Pan, a pleasure garden surrounded
by Roman villas and baths.

Wardian tomb:
Dating from
2nd century BC Situated on Bergwan Street of El Mex road. Of a
unique construction, several small chambers radiate off a large
central hall, all of which has been hewn out of the rock. First
discovered in 1896.
