St. Mina District:

The St. Mina District is situated near the actual St. Mina’s Monastery in Borg El Arab area. Martyr Mina ‘s body was buried there, and we can still find the remains of three old churches, which dates back to the 4th century AD.

King Mariout Tomb:

It’s a Byzantine Tomb, which was discovered recently in King Mariout district. It’s still under excavation and not open to public yet.

Narriman Hospital Tomb:

This Tomb dates back to the 5th century AD. It was recently discovered under The Narriman Hospital, It’s still under excavation and not open to public yet.

St.Marc Church and Catacombs:

St. Marc the Evangelist, one of the Christ’s disciples, established the church in the first century. The present Basilica stands over the catacombs of the Coptic patriarchs of the 7th to 11th centuries. It is situated in Coptic Church Street, Ramleh Station.

St. Saba Church:

The St. Saba Church is situated in Raml Station; It contains a great bronze bell, which was a present of the Russian Church. In 615 AD, there was another church located in the same place, and having the same name.

Wady Al Natroun Monasteries:

It’s 122 Kms from Alexandria on Alex/Cairo desert rd, 100 kms on the road west the Rest House would take you to the monasteries. St. Bishoy monastery, El Soryan monastery, El Baramos monastery and Abu Makkar monastery. Those four Monasteries been built on a cross shape.
